Marble Tables
Marble tables: available as marble dining room tables or marble coffee tables or end tables. The most exclusive marble top tables gallery in the World. Handcrafted by an unparalleled Italian expertise, our tables bring to you the stone that went throughout the centuries from the ancient Roman civilisation.
What is the antique marble?
This kind of marble is called antique for its present rarity and scarcity.
The antique marble fragments were typically recovered from the slabs
covering the ancient columns and walls in unprotected sites and regions
(mainly low-tide Tiber river banks).
Most of these marble types hail from quarries that were exhausted
by the ancient Romans during their Empire: today some antique marble
no longer exists commercially. Depending
on the table design, we can use also modern marble, usually
cheaper, it may differ from the antique type for its current availability,
origin, or mineralogical features.
A marble table design is the result of a complex procedure in which
thick slabs of antique marble are pasted together like a mosaic: the
result is a gallery of really unique marble coffee tables! This antique
Italian technique is famous throughout the world: the most
famous antique marble table is in the Metropolitan museum of New
York.
The prices can change, remember ever to ask for an updated
